19,000 Pounds of Electronics Recycled

Kennesaw's semiannual electronics recycling event brought in 19,000 pounds of dead computers, monitors, stereos, printers, batters and other items Nov. 13.

The Environmental Committee organized the event at Adams Park. The goal is not only to help people clear out their clutter, but also to keep toxic materials out of landfills.

Complete PC Recycling in Kennesaw handled the collection, data destruction and recycling. The city's next electronics recycling day is planned for June.
