Kennesaw Resident Davis Lee Elected to Council's Board of Directors
Kennesaw resident Davis Lee, PhD, President of the InnovaNet Group, was recently elected to the Board of Directors of the Synthetic Turf Council (STC) during its Annual Membership Meeting in Dallas, Texas. The STC is a non-profit trade association that focuses on education, outreach and advancing the synthetic turf industry in the U.S. and Canada. Voted to serve as Secretary of the Board by his peers, this move recognizes Dr. Lee’s leadership position within the industry overall.
“Our Board plays an extremely active role in shaping the strategic direction of the Council,” explains Rick Doyle, President of the Synthetic Turf Council. “Davis Lee has shared his vast scientific and business knowledge with the industry for years and we are confident the association will continue to grow under his leadership.”
Dr. Lee has a successful 30 year track record in technology development and innovation spanning an array of polymers and materials. As President of the InnovaNet Group, he has lead a variety of new product and technical efforts in areas such as hard and elastomeric composites, films, fiber, nonwovens and mechanical innovations. Lee holds a Ph.D. in synthetic organic chemistry from Emory University.
