KSU Wins Continuing Education Awards

Kennesaw State University’s College of Continuing and Professional Education brought home three awards at the 21st annual University Professional & Continuing Education Association marketing conference held Nov. 7-9 in New Orleans.

The college earned the following awards: Bronze for The Course Professional and Personal Program Catalog (Print Publications category); Silver for Web Design Billboard (Outdoor/Exhibit Signage category); and Bronze for “What is OLLI” TV ad (Broadcast Advertising category).

CCPE staff members who attended the conference were Tamara Grooms, Director of Financial and Personnel; Ann Vancza, Director of Healthcare, Culinary, Meeting and Event, Technology and Online  programs; Beth Major and Brenda Lora, Marketing Administrative Associates; and Michelle Girage, Assistant Director of  OLLI,  Summer U, CAREing and Leisure programs.  

The College of Continuing and Professional Education has more than 40 professional certificate programs with instruction offered on site at KSU Center or through online classes. Programs include Administrative Professional, Bookkeeper Professional, Certified Nursing Assistant, Culinary Apprenticeship, Human Resources, Languages, Medical Billing and Coding, Medical Interpreter, Medical Office Assistant, Meeting & Event Management, MS Office, Paralegal, Personal Trainer, Pharmacy Technician, Phlebotomy and EKG Technician, and Professional Development in Gerontology.
