16-Year-Old Girl Missing
Raquel Landry was last seen leaving her Kennesaw home Saturday on the way to a concert.
The Kennesaw Police Department is seeking help in finding a 16-year-old girl who has been missing since Saturday.
Raquel Landry was last seen leaving her Kennesaw home about 6 p.m. to attend a concert in Gwinnett County, police said. She may be in the company of 21-year-old Sulio Sandoval, a Hispanic male, and they may be driving an older model white Ford Mustang, police said.
Anyone with information on Landry's whereabouts is asked to contact Detective Keith Todman at 770-429-4533 or 770-422-2505.

That's not necessary. She may have left with him of her own accord.

She did not leave with him on her own. I know this family and your opinion can lead to people making the wrong conclusions and feel it isn't important to help.

We must continue to get the word out for her. She isn't with them of her own accord. Email, print and pass out copies of the Police BOLO. Time is of the essence in finding her location.

I have deleted a couple of the above comments. Let's avoid racial slurs and unnecessary comments and instead, remember the important matter at hand that a girl is missing.

There needs to be more media attention to this matter.

I agree and we are working on that presently. Unfortunately it's always left up to the family to make that happen. We encourage the public to help us get the photo and information out there by printing the flyer and passing it out as well as posting on your Facebook pages, if you have one, giving it to your mailman, the restaurants you frequent, the grocery stores you shop at, etc. That whole adage, "It takes a village to raise a child" Well, it takes that same village to save a child. Thank you all for your continued prayers and support for the family.

I knew this girl. Shes a lovely person heart of gold, can get a little riled up sometimes, but has a good head on her shoulders. Ive known girls that ran away with dudes a bit older than them and they usually come home safe and sound, but regardless every effort should and i hope will be made to bring her home safely, and bring that rat bastard that either let a child be taken or took a child himself, to justice. Good luck raquel, good luck to the family, and good luck to the police and other services who BETTER be up day and night working their asses off to find this wonderful girl.

They believe she is some where in Mexico. Not sure if she is safe are not. Not one is updating the public. You would think this would be National Newss but we can not even get local media to report on it!

Unfortunately because it's International it takes on an entirely different form, so to speak. A site has been set-up for the family to use to update (as much as they can) the public. It's the only one they are using to keep a handle on managing the information from being placed in various places and outsiders sharing their opinions and assumptions and the public taking it as fact(s). The site is: gofundme.com/RaquelLandry. You can donate and/or leave the family a message of encouragement. Those with unfounded post, and are simply opinions and assumption need to realize this is a 16-year old girl missing and the devastation her family is experiencing and put yourself in their place before you speak.

Because of the International scope of this matter, there can not be any published updates, websites, FB, etc. The matter could put her in further danger. We continue to covet your prayers for Raquel and the Landry family.
