Don't Get Caught in Traffic
Take a look at the roadwork being done in and around Kennesaw this week, Sept. 17-21. Barrett Parkway, Burnt Hickory Road and Ridenour Boulevard are among the affected roadways.
The following road work will be in progress this week beginning on Tuesday, according to Commissioner Helen Goreham. No road work will be done today.
NB Barrett Pkwy (Burnt Hickory Rd. to Cobb Pkwy.):
Expect periodic lane closures northbound from 9 a.m.-7 p.m. between Burnt Hickory Road and Cobb Parkway. One lane will remain open at all times as the contractor performs grading operations, wall construction and storm drainage work. Various utility companies will be relocating services, which should not affect your service.
SB Barrett Pkwy (Ridenour Blvd. to Burnt Hickory Rd.):
Anticipate periodic lane closures southbound from 7 a.m.-4 p.m. between Ridenour Boulevard and Burnt Hickory Roads with one lane remaining open at all times. The contractor will be performing grading operations, wall construction and storm drainage work. Various utility companies relocating services, which should not affect your service.
