New Home Depot Call Center Starts Hiring Process

The Home Depot's new call center is expected to bring 700 jobs to the Kennesaw area.

 

Job listings posted this week on The Home Depot's website show the home improvement retailer has officially started the hiring process for its new Kennesaw-based call center.

In November, Gov. Nathan Deal announced The Home Depot would open a $24 million national customer service call center in Kennesaw, bringing nearly 700 new jobs to the area. The center is expected to be fully operational later this year.

The following Kennesaw positions are currently listed on The Home Depot's website:

Manager Training and Development. This full time position entails managing the creation and implementation of learning solutions and training courses that meet the business objectives of the contact center. A bachelor's degree in instructional design, human resources or related field is preferred. Five-plus years in the learning field is desired. Click here for more information, or to apply.

Sr Manager Human Resources. This full time position involves implementing Human Resources plans and programs, resolving general associate relations issues and counseling and coaching management on business decisions related to personnel issues, leadership and management effectiveness. A master's degree and five to eight years experience in human resources is preferred. Click here for more information, or to apply.

Director Contact Center. The candidate for this full time position will provide leadership and drive unit performance through development and management of strategies tied to customer service, adherence to quality standards and performance metrics. Preferred qualifications include an MBA, 10 years experience managing a customer support organization, and experience in process management. Click here for more information, or to apply.
