Kennesaw Burglary Suspect Leaves Apology Note
Authorities issued an arrest warrant for the suspect in connection with a Kennesaw home burglary.
Dalton Lee White, according to a Cobb County criminal warrant, recently came down with a case of burglar's remorse.
Authorities said that sometime between 7 a.m. Jan. 15 and 8:17 p.m. Feb. 12, White broke into a home in Kennesaw and took three blank checks, seven silver coins and a wedding ring set.
Two of the checks were used in Cherokee County, where White allegedly pawned some of the other stolen items.
At some point, according to the warrant, White felt bad about what he did.
He allegedly left an envelope containing the remaining blank check, $80 in cash and an apology letter in the homeowner's mailbox.
Despite the apology, a warrant was issued for White's arrest on March 12. He faces a charge of burglary in the first degree.
It was from that remaining blank check that authorities found White's fingerprints, records show.

I guess the economy is making some people do things completely out of character. Something tells me that's what happened to this guy.
