The Kennesaw Parks & Recreation Department's Winter/Spring 2011 Program Guide is now available. The guide features 120 recreational, sports, leisure and entertainment activities scheduled between the months of January and May.

According to Kennesaw officials, next year's lineup includes a variety of new programs for residents of all ages. Youths and teens can participate in a litany of new classes, such as cooking, teen etiquette, dance, and even juggling. Newly introduced adult programs include creative writing, wilderness survival, cardio-funk hip-hop and bridal etiquette.

Returning favorites include Tai Chi, Zumba, pottery, sign language, and a Biggest Loser Fitness Weight Loss Challenge for adults, said officials.

Upcoming events are also listed in the guide. On Jan. 29, the city will host a Book/CD/ DVD Swap, and on Feb. 12, there will be a Valentine's Western Hoe-Down Dance.
