The KBA link on their site to register for the Jan 8 meeting is not operating. Thank you.

You're right. The link to register on the KBA website is down. I'll check back in an hour or so. Not sure what's going on with their site.

I almost registered to go but got distracted helping my cat play with a ball of twine.

I probably didn't miss much.

Once the event is sold out the link closes. The State of the City address was very informative and give an update to what has been happening and is going to happen in the city in the upcoming year. To be SO NEGATIVE all the time when you don't even come to listen at the Council Meetings, any of the Committee meetings, or plan in advance to attend the KBA meeting is quite narrow minded! I've never seen nor heard so many "Whiney Willie's" as I have in this town. When progress is mentioned with a restaurant, etc. immediately the negative Nellie's begin bashing the type it is, and why it shouldn't locate downtown etc. I guess when you complain about the emptiness downtown in truth, you really enjoy it because once downtown is billed and active you won't have anything else to whine about!
