Mayor to Discuss State of Kennesaw
He will deliver the address at today's Kennesaw Business Association meeting.
Mayor Mark Mathews this morning will deliver his State of the City address at the Kennesaw Business Association's January luncheon.
The luncheon begins at 11:30 a.m. at the Embassy Suites, 620 Chastain Rd. NW.
Space is limited. Attendees must RSVP and prepay at www.kennesawbusiness.org.
KBA requests that guests park behind the hotel in the Town Park office building parking lot.

Once the event is sold out the link closes. The State of the City address was very informative and give an update to what has been happening and is going to happen in the city in the upcoming year. To be SO NEGATIVE all the time when you don't even come to listen at the Council Meetings, any of the Committee meetings, or plan in advance to attend the KBA meeting is quite narrow minded! I've never seen nor heard so many "Whiney Willie's" as I have in this town. When progress is mentioned with a restaurant, etc. immediately the negative Nellie's begin bashing the type it is, and why it shouldn't locate downtown etc. I guess when you complain about the emptiness downtown in truth, you really enjoy it because once downtown is billed and active you won't have anything else to whine about!
