Slavery Focus of Kennesaw Forum
It will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. today at Kennesaw State University.
The End It Movement is traveling to campuses across the nation to bring attention to human trafficking, forced labor, bonded labor and other forms of modern day slavery.
And at 11 a.m. today, team members of the recently-formed nonprofit will gather on the patio in front of the Kennesaw State University Commons for an educational "sidewalk forum."
They want people to know that "that there are 27 million men, women and children, just like them, living in the shadows. Working as slaves. In 161 countries. Including our own. We are here to shine a light on slavery. No more bondage. No more sex trafficking. No more child laborers. No more. Starting now."
