Updated: Pip's a Hit on 'The Voice'

Kennesaw Mountain grad Phillip "Pip" Arnold joins Team Adam after hearing Christina Aguilera, Adam Levine, Blake Shelton and Cee Lo Green beg to be his coach.

Updated 8:30 p.m.

Pip Arnold is now a member of The Voice's Team Adam.

The Kennesaw Mountain High grad wowed all four judges on tonight's episode of the NBC reality show with his version "House of the Rising Sun."

“I never thought all four of y’all would turn around in like a million years,” Pip said.

The fact that Pip, 19, sported a bowtie and suspenders just seemed to excite Adam Levine, Blake Shelton, Christina Aguilera and Cee Lo Green even more.

"It takes a real man to wear a bowtie," Adam said.

"So young and fresh-looking," Cee Lo said. "Great song and great delivery."

Just the name Pip caught Blake's attention: "That's cool already."

In the end, Pip chose Adam as his coach because he was the first to turn around during the blind audition.

“I feel very privileged to have Pip on my team,” Adam said. “He’s awesome.”

Original Report

Kennesaw's wait appears to be over: Tonight looks like the night that alum Phillip "Pip" Arnold will show off his talent on the NBC reality show The Voice.

Kennesaw Patch has been keeping an eye and an ear out for Pip's blind audition, and commercials airing on NBC indicate that he impresses at least two of the judges, Adam Levine and Blake Shelton.

Here's hoping that Christina Aguilera and Cee Lo Green also try to add Pip to their teams.

The show airs from 8 to 10 p.m.

If the show leaves you longing for more Pip, or if you want to get a sample before the show, never fear: Christine Arnold's YouTube channel is almost all Pip, all the time.
