Leaning Man III greets you as you walk into the exhibit. Viola Frey’s giant sculpture gives the viewer an impression of being a child, looking up at an adult. As some current and former KSU students may remember, this sculpture was formerly in the student center.

From now until April 28, Kennesaw State University will be hosting Modern & Contemporary Art from the Permanent Collection, a series of paintings, sculptures, and photos donated to KSU by multiple donors. Choosing from over 1,000 archived pieces, curator Dinah McClintock assembled an array of artistic styles, ranging from impressionism to abstract. Viewfinder gives you a look at some of the works you will see when you visit this exhibit.

Looks like a good exhibit, Aaron. Glad to see you have a vibrant art scene in K.

It really is a nice exhibit, Kevin. Unfortunately, there are hundreds of pieces sitting on racks in KSU's archive that can't be viewed. The exhibit is accepting donations so they can upgrade their facilities in order to show more pieces. Maybe someday we will see some of your paintings in an exhibit!
