Accomplishment: Christopher is a budding barbecue chef and entrepreneur. He is honing his skills and learning to cook championship-style barbecue with his dad on the Kansas City Barbeque Society professional circuit.

Christopher took a real interest in barbecuing when his father started to turn his passion into a profession several years ago. Christopher apprentices with his dad’s catering business and competition cook team, Que’n, Stew’n & Brew’n. Christopher has also participated in multiple youth cook-off tournaments, and is looking forward to more competitions.

Christopher said what he enjoys most about barbecuing is “spending the time with my dad and trying to be as good of a cook as he is.”

Christopher has been invited several times to help Myron Mixon at his barbecue cooking school in Unadilla, GA. Mixon is a barbecue legend, touted the King of BBQ on the circuit, and one of the most awarded men in competitive BBQ.

When Christopher is not attending school or participating in Boy Scouts, you can find him at the grill. Kennesaw Patch commends Christopher for his dedicated efforts. We are looking forward to seeing, smelling and tasting some great things from this budding BBQ aficionado.
