The Kennesaw City Manager Steve Kennedy has decided that as of midnight Sunday Metro Ambulance will now be taking the City calls instead of Ga EMS.

I would have to opine that any chance the Mayor Mathews ethics business 'going away' or amounting to nothing is now out the window.

I can't imagine any worse timing on such a decision to change over and I suppose that at least some on the City Council will not be pleased, or maybe they will be pleased as they now have something whack the Mayor over the head with. If the Mayor instructed Kennedy to proceed he made a big mistake, if City Manager Kennedy did it to wrong foot the Mayor then he did a pretty good job of it.

I understand that the City Council member wanting to take down Mayor Mathews is Ms. Chris Eaton Welch, don't know how the other members line up on this but up until now they had been OK with the small 4 ambulance firm doing the City calls.
