Our Pin of the Day for Tuesday, Feb. 7, is a post-game photo taken by my father at the Super Bowl. It's a picture that almost didn't happen. Dad managed to get pickpocketed, losing his game and tailgate party tickets in the process. If you've ever met my father, you'd know he's a likely target for a pickpocket. He has the reflexes of a sloth and once fell asleep during a Las Vegas performance by the Blue Man Group, an act that basically consists of loud drumming. Our Pin of the Day for Friday, Feb. 3, is a YouTube clip from the 1956 Disney film "The Great Locomotive Chase." The film is based on the Civil War event of the same name in which volunteers from the Union Army commandeered a train in Big Shanty, GA (now known as Kennesaw) and took it toward Chattanooga, TN, damaging the Western and Atlantic Railroad along the way. All you need is white paper, a white crayon, scissors, watercolors, a paintbrush and a special message for a special someone. Simply cut hearts out of the white paper, write your secret love notes on them using a white crayon, then place the hearts around the house for your loved one to find. Who run the world? Girls! Our Pin of the Day for Tuesday, Jan. 31, features a Beyoncé-inspired performance by the Kennesaw State University Dance Team. According to its website, the dance team is in its 13th season. The dancers serve as ambassadors for the university, promote school spirit, and dance at all home men's and women's basketball games.
