The audition is open to all dancers who will be at least 6 years old by September 1, 2012. Dancers who audition will learn and perform combinations in Ballet, Jazz, Tap and Hip-Hop dance styles. Dancers should wear all-black to the audition—female dancers should wear black leotards and black tights and male dancers should wear a black tank or t-shirt with black shorts.
Great Gig Dance Ensemble is a group of young dancers between the ages of 6 and 18. Based out of Great Gig Dance Co. in Kennesaw, the group performs throughout the local community of Acworth-Kennesaw-Woodstock-Marietta, as well as throughout the Southeast and beyond. The Ensemble has represented Kennesaw by performing in the Piccolo Spoleto Dance Festival and Dance at Noon Series in Charleston, SC for the past 8 years, and has been featured in performances aboard Royal Caribbean Cruise Ships.

More About Great Gig Dance Company
Classes offered by this studio include jazz, tap, contemporary and ballet. These classes are available for children in pre-K all the way up to adults. A variety of classes are available at many time slots so students can participate in more than one class at once.
At the end of the year, the school hosts a show at Cobb Civic Center, at which students can show what they have learned.
