Every day freight trains rumble past the museum. What’s inside of those freight cars? This week we will learn about different types of freight cars and the cargo they transport. Join us at Mommy & Me as we read "Inside Freight Train" (by Donald Crews), explore the museum, work on counting skills, and do a craft. Hope to see you this Thursday!
Designed for preschool age children ages three to five-years-old and their caregivers, the Museum’s history, themes and exhibits provide a fun and exciting starting point for educational activities.

The Southern Museum of Civil War & Locomotive History, which is open to the public, also offers membership opportunities.
