What did children play with before video games, Legos, and Thomas train sets? Mommy & Me returns this Thursday after a short vacation, and we’ll be learning about old-fashioned toys and games. Come and join us as we look for toys in the museum, play a game, make crafts, and try our hand at playing with examples of “simple toys, simple joys.”
Designed for preschool age children ages three to five-years-old and their caregivers, the Museum’s history, themes and exhibits provide a fun and exciting starting point for educational activities.
Free with museum admission. No reservations required.

The Southern Museum of Civil War & Locomotive History, which is open to the public, also offers membership opportunities.
