The red caboose is one of the most recognizable symbols of the railroads, for children and adults alike. Come to Thursday’s Mommy & Me where we’ll talk about these train cars and visit the one that sits on the grounds of the museum. And of course we’ll have a book, song, and craft too. Designed for preschool age children ages three to five-years-old and their caregivers, the Museum’s history, themes and exhibits provide a fun and exciting starting point for educational activities.
Free with museum admission. No reservations required.

The Southern Museum of Civil War & Locomotive History, which is open to the public, also offers membership opportunities.
