DESCRIPTION:Registration opens on August 1 for the Fall Veggie Plot Serie
 s at Smith-Gilbert Gardens. Inside the Gardens&rsquo\; newest addition\,
  the Gather &lsquo\;n Grow Garden\, four foot square raised beds called 
 Veggie Plots are set aside for families and individuals for planting.&nb
 sp\; A $150 fee will include the Veggie Plot\, participation in a series
  of 10 educational classes on sustainable and responsible vegetable gard
 ening\, and access to the Gardens from September through November.&nbsp\
 ; The classes will start the first week of September and continue throug
 h mid-November. Gardeners can choose to attend classes on Tuesday evenin
 gs (5-7 pm) or Saturday mornings (8-10 am).&nbsp\; Topics will include &
 ldquo\;Putting Seeds to Bed&rdquo\;\, &ldquo\;Wicked Weeds&rdquo\;\, &ld
 quo\;Pests and Protection&rdquo\;\, and end with a Harvest Feast. Partic
 ipants are welcome to work their &lsquo\;plantation&rsquo\; during regul
 ar SGG operating hours.&nbsp\; Additionally\, the Garden will be open un
 til 8 pm on Tuesdays. Spaces are limited\, so registration is on a &ldqu
 o\;first pay\, first re-served&rdquo\; basis.\nFor more information abou
