The Southern Museum's “Haunted Museum - A Night at the Asylum”

Southern Museum of Civil War & Locomotive History, 2829 Cherokee St NW, Kennesaw, GA | Get Directions »
$5.00

The Southern Museum of Civil War and Locomotive History will transform into a haunted insane asylum this Halloween season as part of its annual haunted museum. A Night at the Asylum, presented by Geico, will take place from 6-10 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 19, and from 5-10 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 20

The premise for this year’s event, A Night at the Asylum, is that the Southern Museum was built atop a plot of land once home to a sanatorium for the criminally insane.

The event is not recommended for children 12 years old or younger and will use strobe lighting and scary effects. Admission for this special event is $5, and tickets can be purchased the day of the event or in advance.

For more information, visit www.southernmuseum.org or call Mackenzie Mabee, the museum’s events coordinator, at (770) 427-2117, ext. 3058.
