"We need leaders, not just spenders".....rumor has it that Mr. Jenkins is the biggest spender of the group! I have filed a records request and will be joining the blogs to provide a full report. I hope to have the story out by the "Meet and Greet". It should provide for some interesting questions.Stay Tuned!

I guess breaking the ultimate contract of a marriage is acceptable? I think Legal's comment sums up the problem with society today. It's ok to break the contract of family but not $30 to UPS. At least we understand your moral standards.
Kennesaw Resident September 11, 2013 at 07:58 PM
Obviously by your weak moral standards these guys and their bankruptcy's are mortal sins unlike the useless sanctity of marriage. My, My, My.
Debra Williams September 11, 2013 at 10:54 PM
Hold on guys. I think we need to stop and look at what's going on here. We're no longer discussing the issues but we've turned personal because it's easier to attack someone personally than it is to debate the issues, especially if ones issues are weak. I'm 99.99 % sure I know exactly who this Kennesaw Resident is, and soon, I'll be 100% sure. Unless one knows the details of the issues, posting opinions and assumptions only makes that person a fool because they are trying to spin something out of nothing. Their is a sanctity of marriage, however there are also Biblical approvals for the dissolving of a marriage. Other issues however are very specific in the handling and results of immoral and unethical situations. If you can't discuss or debate the issues, then keep your opinions and assumptions to yourselves. Don't post half truths in an attempt to tear another down - inspect your own lives and make sure you're above reproach!

Brownies are out of the oven and Chocolate Chip Cookies are next for our Meet and Greet tonight. Looking forward to a great evening where my friends and neighbors will get the straight up answers from the candidates for the 2013 City Council Posts. Signs will be available for your yards and businesses.

It appears that only some of the candidates were invited to this "event". Eileen has twisted yet another statement implying that she is hosting "all" candidates when in reality it is only 2 of them. She says "Change is needed" yet is supporting an incumbent known for extravagant credit card use and using my tax money to wine and dine some of his "chosen" constituents. Eileen, I'm sure you promote transparency and full disclosure. How many meals have been paid for for you with my and the residents of this great city's tax money?

Eileen is quite the mouthy broad. I hope your neighbors saw a great example of the type of people you promote. New info at http://Jenkins-big-spender.blogspot.com/

No need for low-brow name calling it smacks of desperation. Could you please cite your sources of the Jenkins spending so it can be independently verified through a similar request (most probably from the City Manager's office)? My posts are exactly that way. The figures I cite can be independently verified and I direct the reader to the source cited by page and or financial note. You have one problem you need to rectify. If Bruce is eating in the City and expensing it, and you state that the meal reimbursement is only for travel outside the City, then your complaints should be directed at the City Manager's office for honoring the meal expenses and contributing to the violation. I'm sure they can read the receipt that would show a City of Kennesaw restaurant. This goes to a 'process and procedure" issue. Let's see the independently verified proof to review and then ask the City Manager's office about the policy and procedures. If Bruce is violating policy, I'll be happy to call him on it. Will you do the same should you find a similar policy violation for whomever you are shilling for? Again, my blog is designed to raise awareness and to make sure those seeking office hold similar values that I believe qualify them for the office. Help make the process work for the entire community, but don't start your posts in a fashion that makes you look little and diminishes the message.

Ms. Williams, your media history in the MDJ shows the world exactly what type of person you are. One can only assume that the info you released was a desperate attempt to show what a great Public Relations professional you really are. I would venture to guess that there are professional PR trade associations that have a code of ethics that you blew straight out of the water. And now you want to be a politician? Isn't your style exactly what the world is trying to eliminate?

I feel a new blog...Williams-queen-of-ethics?...stay tuned.

Sorry for the delay Debbie, I had to make sure my boss was gone for the weekend. So in your professional life, which trade organization is Total PR affiliated with? I'm sure as upstanding as you portray yourself that you are part of at least one and probably even involved in the oversight and administration of one or more. Are you a Board Officer? The blog is coming along very well and may be ready to present any day now. Sorry..gotta get back to work. Boss may be monitoring my Internet usage.

Good evening Kennesaw Resident. Would you please respond to my previous post? Can you provide proof of your accusations regarding Mr. Jenkins falsifying his expenses? Because that is what you are suggesting. Can we see receipts and PO's from the City? If you can provide then you and I should go down to City Hall and confront them on the policy violations and inquire as to why they reimburse Mr. Jenkins in violation of their policies. That is what taxpayers should do. Otherwise, you do nothing to contribute to intellectual debate.
Kennesaw Resident September 14, 2013 at 10:53 PM
Citizen, there is no reimbursement. He uses his city issued credit card. All info is available using your previously instructed methods for requesting info. My sources fear retaliation from the councilman.
Kennesaw Citizen September 15, 2013 at 03:01 PM
Kennesaw Resident....Let me make sure I'm following this. Are you saying that the City issues each Council person a credit card and the City pays the credit card company without requesting supporting documentation? That cannot be...The City must request the documentation. Further, if, as you indicated, the meal reimbursements are only to be done for out-of-city meals, then something in the process and procedures is incorrect. Step me through the process. Your link doesn't seem to be coming up.
Kennesaw Citizen September 15, 2013 at 08:45 PM
Kennesaw Resident....because if you are saying he is using his city issued credit card for meals, and paying for them himself, then you have a non-issue. I worked for a large corporation and we did that all the time. But if you are saying he's putting personal charges on the City card, and submitting for reimbursement, or the City is paying without requesting receipts then that is just the craziest allegation I've heard.
Kennesaw Citizen September 18, 2013 at 07:05 AM
Kennesaw Resident - awaiting your response.
LegalService September 18, 2013 at 12:52 PM
You will wait in vain. This is a board shill for the 'pro Mathews' faction and as I explained to you at some length in an emai,l by even giving him the courtesy of a reply to his made up and baseless nonsense, you waste your time and energy.
Kennesaw Citizen September 18, 2013 at 03:15 PM
Legal Services....much obliged. You know, I try to keep it above board. No sniping, no name calling, just adult dialogue.
