5 Things: Celebrate Recovery, Not the Weather

Here are five things you should know before you leave the house today.

1. According to the National Weather Service, today will be mostly sunny with a high around 93 and heat index values up to 99. There is a 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms after 2 p.m. Tonight will be partly cloudy with a low near 73 and a 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms before 2 a.m.

2. Cobb Vineyard Church in Kennesaw is holding a Celebrate Recovery 12-step meeting tonight for family and friends affected by addiction, alcoholism, divorce and other life challenges.
