5 Things: Farmers Market, Cobb Commissioners Meeting

Here are five things you should know before you leave the house today.

1. According to the National Weather Service, today will be partly sunny with a high near 90 and a 60 percent chance of precipitation. Thunderstorms are likely after 2 p.m. Tonight's low will be around 69 with a 60 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms.

2. Georgia residents are invited to vote online for the state's new license plate design. The state received more than 500 entries and has narrowed the contenders down to eight finalists. Vote online here from now until July 8.

4. The will meet today for a session at 1:30 p.m. and again for its regular meeting at 7 p.m. The meetings will take place in the commissioners’ boardroom on the second floor of in Marietta.
