Good morning, Kennesaw. Here's Monday's briefing to help you start your day.

Batten down the hatches. There is a 100 percent chance of precipitation today with possible thunderstorms, hail and other severe weather, according to The National Weather Service. Today's high will be near 60 with a low around 39. According to a Hazardous Weather Outlook, a strong cold front will move across north and central Georgia today. Showers and thunderstorms will develop along and ahead of the front. Primary hazards include large hail, damaging winds and isolated tornadoes.

Over the weekend, Republican presidential candidate Newt Gingrich won the South Carolina primary. But the 1997 ethics investigation against him has resurfaced in the media in recent days, with Mitt Romney calling for Gingrich to release more documents on the investigation before Nancy Pelosi does.
