California Dreaming to Host Santa Night

California Dreaming will have its Fifth Annual Santa Night at 6 p.m. today to support the Kennesaw Police Department's Jerry Worthan Memorial Christmas Fund.

For more than three decades, donations to the fund have enabled the agency to give toys and new clothes to needy children in Acworth and Kennesaw. The deadline for food, clothing, toy and monetary donations is Tuesday, and barely a quarter of the 250 children who require assistance this year had been adopted as of last week.

Those who bring a new, unwrapped toy to California Dreaming tonight will receive a card that entitles them to a free appetizer or dessert.
