Just days after the 20-year-old maintenance worker confessed to the murder of 7-year-old Jorelys Rivera, Brunn was found dead Thursday in his cell of an apparent suicide. Check with Canton-Sixes Patch for more updates.

Congratulations to Harrison High School and Kennesaw Mountain High School. Both were ranked , according to a list released by Atlanta Magazine. As a side note, I am a proud alum of KMHS!

Coming up today, I'll be posting a new article. For those of you who haven't been keeping up with the column, I've been chronicling my new parenthood journey from pregnancy through present day. Leizel is 5-months-old now, eats out of a spoon, and moves around through an interesting motion I've dubbed "the backward inchworm."
