Mommy & Me - A-Camping We Will Go

Summer vacation is in full swing, and it’s a time when lots of families enjoy camping.  At this week’s Mommy & Me, we’ll talk about what people today do when they go on camping trips, and learn what Civil War soldiers did during camp life 150 years ago.  Join us for the 10 am or 11:30 am class as we read stories, sing songs, tour the museum, and go for a short nature hike around the museum!Designed for preschool age children ages three to five-years-old and their caregivers, the Museum’s history, themes and exhibits provide a fun and exciting starting point for educational activities.
