Mommy & Me - Traveling by Rail

Once upon a time, passenger trains were the most popular form of travel for people journeying great distances across the United States.  Today they still carry folks to destinations near and far around the country, so at this week’s Mommy & Me we will be learning about passenger train travel.   We will read a story, look at the model passenger train cars here in the museum, and talk about dining cars.  And remember, you can come to either the 10 am or the 11:30 am class!

Designed for preschool age children ages three to five-years-old and their caregivers, the Museum’s history, themes and exhibits provide a fun and exciting starting point for educational activities.

Free with museum admission. No reservations required.
