'Footloose,' Filmed in Kennesaw, Premieres Today; LEGO Contest

1. After some dreary weather this week, it's shaping up to be a beautiful day. According to the National Weather Service, today will be sunny with a high near 74. Tonight will be mostly clear with a low near 50.

2. The remake of Footloose premieres today, and you just may spot some familiar locations in the film. The movie was filmed around the Atlanta area last fall, including  right here in Kennesaw. Besides Kennesaw, filmmakers also visited Acworth, Hiram, Covington and other communities in Georgia. Did you spot the filmmakers and stars around town last year? Were you an extra in the film? 3.  will hold its "Kiddie Gardener" series today at 10 a.m. Kids ages 3-5 are invited to join the program for a garden-related story, exploration of the gardens and other educational activities. All children must be accompanied by an adult.
