Just because it's Spring Break doesn't mean you should sit around the house.

Hasn't it been nice having the kids home all week for Spring Break? If the little ones are close to driving you crazy, here are some family-friendly weekend excursions everyone will enjoy.

Where/When: ; Friday, 10 a.m. to 11 a.m.

Why Go: Because your preschooler is constantly asking you to help in the garden, so he or she might as well know a thing or two about horticulture.

Pricing: $5 per child, adults free

4. Safari Day Camps

Where/When: Zoo Atlanta; Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Why Go: Because little Jack Hanna wants to learn more about the wild kingdom.

Pricing: $56/day for members, $70/day for non members. There are more sessions coming in May!

5. Dolphin Tales

Where/When: Georgia Aquarium; Friday to Sunday, times vary

Why Go: Because a show about man's special relationship to dolphins has a porpoise besides entertaining you and the kids.

Pricing: $40.45 for adults, $27.95 per each child aged 3-12
