Get Out: Star Spangled Spectacular, Screen on the Green

Summer's in full swing, so get out and enjoy it!

We might be in for a wet weekend, with slight chances of thunderstorms every day. The temperatures will be in the mid to upper 80s, so a drizzle or two might be welcome. Either way, there's plenty to see and do this weekend in and around Kennesaw.

Why Go: The will be playing a mix of patriotic, Americana and Broadway tunes, and the evening will be capped off by a fireworks display. Get your Fourth of July fix early.

Why Go: Because nothing says summer like a screen on the green. Bring the family to enjoy an outdoor showing of the PG-rated movie “Shrek: Forever After.”

Why Go: Sure, summer camps are nice and all but what if your youngster wants to be the next Picasso? Take him or her to a camp where art is the focus.
