Why Go: Jump onboard for a hands-on, educational "Mommy and Me" experience with your kids ages 3-5 while learning about local history and the museum's many exhibits.
Pricing: Free with museum admission.
Storytime at Kennesaw Branch Library
Where/When: ; Toddler Storytime March 15 and March 16 at 10:30 a.m. Preschool Storytime March 15 at 11:30 a.m. Babies Storytime March 16 at 11:30 a.m. School age Storytime March 16 at 3:30 p.m.
Why go: Because there's no time like storytime.
Pricing: Free. Interested parents should call the library at 770-528-2529 to sign up.
Where/When: 875 Six Flags Drive Austell, GA. 770-739-3181. Open swim hours: Monday-Thursday, 2 p.m.-4 p.m., Friday, 4 p.m.-9 p.m., Saturday and Sunday, 2 p.m.-5 p.m.
Why g0: Because it’s still too cold outside to dip your big toe in the cold water, and they have a heated pool with cool water slides for the kids.
Pricing: Youth- $2.36, Adult- $3.30, Senior- $2 (three-month pass for a family of four available for $100).
Where/When: Book your child’s birthday party on the Town Center Terrace in the Food Court at Town Center at Cobb, located at 400 Ernest Barrett Parkway in Kennesaw. Contact Guest Services for reservations at 770-424-1417.
Why go: Because it’s a unique venue that you don’t have to clean up after and includes the use of birthday décor, balloons and personalized birthday signs.
Pricing: $35 per hour and $50 for two hours for Kidgit Members, or $50 per hour and $75 for two hours for non-members. Not a Kidgit Member? Ask the associate how to join.
