It's Public Safety Appreciation Week in Kennesaw

Honor the men and women in uniform who serve and protect us everyday.

Public Safety Appreciation Week runs through Oct. 7.

You are invited to use the occasion to thank local law enforcement and emergency responders publicly on Kennesaw Patch.

It is free, easy and quick.

1. Make sure you're a registered user of kennesaw.patch.com. There's no charge, no catch, no gimmick. Just enter your legal first and last name, email address and password. No partial names, nicknames or aliases, please.

2. Look for the "Contribute" header at the bottom of the homepage. Under that, click on the "Announce something to everyone" link.

3. Fill in all the fields. (You can even upload a headshot of the person you're thanking.)

4. Voila! You're done.

Let's show members of the following agencies how much we appreciate them.

  • Kennesaw Police Department
  • Kennesaw/Acworth 911 Communications
  • Cobb County Fire and Emergency Services
  • Cobb County Police Department
  • Cobb County School District Department of Public Safety
