Kennesaw Dentist Buying Back Halloween Candy

West Cobb Orthodontics in Kennesaw is buying back those goodies you collected during all of that Halloween trick-or-treating and sending them to troops overseas.

Dental facilities across the country are participating in Operation Gratitude, an effort to send 60,000 care packages to men and women in uniform.

In exchange for your mini Snicker bars, some orthodontists will pay $1 per pound while others will offer goody bags of dental hygiene products, coupons and more.

Last year, Operation Gratitude collected and shipped 125 tons worth of candy.
