Kennesaw Mountain Increases Fees for Shuttle Bus

Kennesaw Mountain's shuttle bus service allows visitors to walk or run up the mountain road without the volume of constant vehicular traffic.

Kennesaw Mountain’s shuttle bus operates on weekends and major holidays to take visitors to the top of the mountain.

Beginning Saturday, May 18th, shuttle bus fees will increase by the following amounts:

  • Adults 12 and over: $3 (previously $2)
  • Children 6 – 11: $1.50 (previously $1)
  • Children under 6: Free

There is no charge for the shuttle service for visitors that have an Interagency pass, Interagency Senior pass or an Interagency Access pass.

Kennesaw Mountain’s shuttle bus service allows visitors to walk or run up the mountain road without the volume of constant vehicular traffic.

The fees collected each year for the operation of this service cover 35 percent of the cost to operate the shuttle bus.

This transportation fee increase helps offset the cost of the shuttle bus operation, which will allow park officials to divert funds back into park operations, according to a press release from Kennesaw Mountain National Battlefield Park.
