Kennesaw Offers Free Lunch to Honor Vets

In recognition of Veterans Day, the City of Kennesaw will honor the service of military members with a complimentary lunch on Nov. 11 at the Ben Robertson Community Center.

In recognition of Veterans Day, the City of Kennesaw will honor the service of military members with a complimentary lunch on Monday, Nov. 11 from noon to 2 p.m. at the Ben Robertson Community Center, 2753 Watts Drive. 

“Veterans Day is a special day we set aside to honor the service and sacrifice of those who served in our military and their families,” said Kennesaw City Councilman Tim Killingsworth, a former US Marine, in a press release. “This is one small way to acknowledge their contribution in protecting and defending American freedoms.”

All veterans and active duty military are invited to attend and no identification will be required.
