Patriotic Purim Celebration

The Chabad Jewish Center invites community members to a Patriotic Purim celebration today at 5:15 p.m. at the Gardens at Kennesaw Mountain, located at 1127 White Circle, Marietta. Purim is the "fun" holiday celebrated by the Jewish people in remembrance of how a planned genocide of the Jews was thwarted by Esther and Mordechai. Today's events will include:

Ahead this weekend, attend the West Cobb Purim Carnival hosted by Congregation Ner Tamid, a Reform Jewish congregation serving West Cobb, Paulding, Cherokee, Bartow, and Douglas counties and surrounding areas. The carnival is on Sunday, March 11, from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. It will be held at , 2320 Baker Rd NW, Acworth.
