Good morning, Kennesaw. Here's Wednesday's briefing to help you start your day.

In local weather, The National Weather Service reports today will be mostly cloudy with a high near 63. Tonight, there's a 30 percent chance of showers with a low around 51.

Stop, drop and swap. The Kennesaw Parks and Recreation Department will conduct a free book, CD and DVD swap on Saturday, Jan. 28, from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the Drop off your gently used books, music CDs and DVD movies on Thursday or Friday from 12-8 p.m. at the Community Center to receive a ticket redeemable for the same number of items during Saturday's open swap.

Magazines, software, record albums, VHS or cassette tapes, adult content, unauthorized or illegal material will not be accepted. This is a free media swap, and items will not be available for purchase. Remaining items will be donated to a local charity.

In case you missed it, a 78-year-old Kennesaw man spent two hours in the Friday on charges that he embezzled nearly $18,000 from the Legacy Park Community Association.
