Taste of Kennesaw This Weekend

Here's what you need to know about the 2013 Taste of Kennesaw.

Sample fare from dozens of Kennesaw area restaurants on Saturday, Sept. 7 at the annual Taste of Kennesaw, held on Main Street and Depot Park downtown.  

The event begins at 11 a.m. and will end at 8 p.m. Over 40 area restaurants plan to participate and a Beer Garden will offer adult beverages.

The festivities will include continuous live entertainment throughout the day, as well as a 6 p.m. concert featuring Sons of Sailors, a Jimmy Buffet tribute band.

Admission is free at this event co-sponsored by the City of Kennesaw and the Kennesaw Business Association. Food samples will range from $1 - $4. 

Children’s activities will include a rock wall, inflatable slides and bounces and a trackless train. 

Parking will be available throughout the downtown area as well as at Adams Park and the First Baptist Church of Kennesaw. Handicap parking will be in the lot next to the Depot.
