Video: A Day with Santa Parade in Kennesaw

Saturday, thousands of people lined the streets of downtown Kennesaw to welcome Santa and his reindeer.

Saturday, thousands of people lined the streets of downtown Kennesaw to welcome Santa Claus in the city's parade of floats, marching bands and costumed characters.

Following the parade, the community was treated to a day full of holiday cheer with live performances, food and games, pony rides, a petting zoo, a snow playground, inflatables and pictures with Santa.

Reenactors at the celebrated A Civil War Christmas and the museum's 10th anniversary as a Smithsonian affiliate with period music and dancing.

Runners also took to the streets for the city's second annual in memory of Faith Cline, a local teen who died of a brain tumor in August 2010.
