Weekend Construction on Barrett Pkwy.

There will be lane closures in both directions of Barrett Parkway today.

Before you head out on the road, District 1 Commissioner Helen Goreham wants to remind you of the following construction updates:

Barrett Parkway Construction
The contractor will be working this Saturday, Oct. 20, performing wall construction, storm drainage and grading operations. There will be lane closures in both directions on Barrett Parkway. Expect delays.

The contractor is not planning to work Sunday, Oct. 21.

Extended lane closures in the “off-peak” direction (southbound in the morning and northbound in the evening) will continue.

NB Barrett Pkwy (Burnt Hickory Road to US 41) – Monday, Oct. 22 through Friday, Oct. 26
You can expect periodic lane closures northbound between 9 a.m. and 7 p.m. between Burnt Hickory Road and Cobb Parkway (US 41).  One lane will remain open at all times as the contractor performs grading operations, wall construction and storm drainage work. Various utility companies will be relocating services which should not affect your service. Expect delays.

SB Barrett Pkwy (Cobb Place to Burnt Hickory Road) – Monday, Oct. 22 through Friday, Oct. 26
Also anticipate periodic lane closures southbound from 7 a.m. until 4 p.m. between Cobb Place and Burnt Hickory Road with one lane remaining open at all times. The contractor will be performing grading operations, wall construction and storm drainage work. Various utility companies relocating services which should not affect your service. Night work is also planned for next week to relocate water main. Expect delays.
