WellStar Health System, through a partnership with the City of Kennesaw, will be providing monthly presentations for the community on a wide variety of health-related topics as part of their Speaking about Wellness for the Community program.
This program provides local organizations with direct access to WellStar’s experienced healthcare professionals. All presentations are free and will take place at the Ben Robertson Community Center, 2753 Watts Drive, 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.
Tuesday, September 17 – Healthy Eating 9 to 5

Learn strategies to prevent injury, techniques to improve your stride, and how to get the most out of your running workout.

Are these things just good, or are they actually good for your heart? Learn the truth behind the myths for these commonly known cardiac super treats. This fun, educational program is presented by a member of the WellStar Cardiac Network.
Tuesday, December 17 – Staying Healthy & Fit During the Holidays
Be the best-looking one in family photos this holiday season and learn how to beat the battle of the bulge during the most delicious time of the year. Participants will learn practical strategies to prevent holiday weight-gain while still experiencing the joy of the season.
