When Will Santa Reach Kennesaw?

With the help of NORAD, we're tracking St. Nick's path toward Cobb County.

Check out this link to see what Santa Claus sees as he makes his round-the-world trip on Christmas Eve, thanks to the Air Force's North American Aerospace Defense Command, known everywhere as NORAD.

You also can follow Santa's progress on the interactive map above.

According to NORAD, Santa could get to as early as 9 p.m. and should be gone by midnight, give or take a few reindeer pit stops.

To get the latest updates on his progress, call 877-HINORAD, and a friendly volunteer, usually from the armed forces, will help you out. (If you get a soldier, sailor, airman or Marine, be sure to offer thanks for serving our country so you can stay on Santa's good-child list.)

Last year, NORAD handled more than 80,000 calls about Santa's progress, The Washington Post reports.

What treats will Santa find when he gets to your house?

While you wait, check out the games and activities at the Countdown Village.

See how Santa and Mrs. Claus got ready for the big night with their at Holly Springs-Hickory Flat Patch.

And as the big guy says, "Merry Christmas to all."

Loved the Santa tracker. Thanks Patch! Merry Christmas to all and to all a Good Night.

What was really fun was waking up about 5:30 a.m., seeing that he had just made his last delivery in Hawaii and watching the countdown as he made his way back to the North Pole for a 6 a.m. arrival. I wonder how many days Santa sleeps after his journey.

I loved the tracker as well! My four-year-old grand-nephew was amazed and then bugged his mom and dad to leave our house to get home before Santa got there! Such a magical time of year...
