"We are so excited to have received almost 100 entries for the first year. The judges had a hard time selecting the winners from such a great group of creative authors," remarked Sheri Brante, Executive Director of the Cobb County Public Schools Educational Foundation.

"The kids all did a fantastic job! We look forward to hearing more summer time stories next year."

This was the first year for the competition, organized by the Kennesaw Parks & Recreation Department in cooperation with the Cobb County Public Schools Educational Foundation.
