Delicious smoke-cooked barbequed meats, tasty desserts, family fun, music and live entertainment will take center stage during the City of Kennesaw's annual Pigs & Peaches BBQ Festival on Friday, August 26 from 5:00pm-11:00pm, and Saturday, August 27 from 10:00am-10:00pm. The festival will feature a Georgia State Championship Barbeque Cookoff (which is sanctioned by the Kansas City Barbeque Society), a Backyard BBQ, Anything Butt and Peach Dessert Contest, food & snack vendors, scheduled entertainment, a Kid Zone with inflatables, fun and games, unique vendor booths and sponsor exhibits.
