Taste of Kennesaw - 2011

Come see the great gig DANCE Ensemble performing at Taste of Kennesaw - 2011. Our performance times are 3:30pm and 4:30pm. We will also be doing a very special movement piece to a reading of "The Drum" that will be performed later in the month for Sheltering Arms, Atlanta oldest non-profit child care group. The stage will be located on the South end of Main Street just past the pedestrian tunnel.Β

The Kennesaw Business Association and the City of Kennesaw invite you and your family to sample over forty local restaurants from the Kennesaw and Cobb County area. Who doesn't like to eat? This is a great way to sample all your favorite restaurants again and again!

Main Street and the Deport Parking lot will be filled with delicious treats and fun activities.

Over restaurants participated in the 2010 Taste of Kennesaw and we expect even more this year! Sample delicious food, and sit back and listen to great music!

The Take of Kennesaw will benefit four local charities:
1. Shop with a Mustang (Kennesaw Mountain High School)
2. Shop with a Warrior (North Cobb High School)
3. Shop with a longhorn (Kell High School)
3. MUST Ministries
4. Jerry Worthan Community Christmas Fund

Admission to the Taste of Kennesaw is FREE with food samples costing $1.00 to $4.00 each.

Over 20,000 people will attend downtown Kennesaw for eat, drink and fellowship.

There will be two entertainment stages. Main Street Stage with all the best local dance groups and school choruses and Depot Stage with acoustic music featuring Scott Thompson from 11:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. Banks and Shane in concert from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.

There will be a wide variety of children's activities from a Quad Bungee, Rockwall, inflatable slides, bounces, a trackless train and much more!
