Well look no further, this is part one of a three-part Memorial Day themed Recipe Corner, where I will be creating recipes for two dishes and a cocktail. 1 green bell pepper, sliced

3 cloves garlic, minced

2 lbs ground Angus beef

sweet Hawaiian rolls

kosher salt and black pepper to taste

1 tbsp olive oil

Process

This is a very simple recipe. First, form the ground beef into mini burgers, season with salt and pepper or whatever you prefer to season your burgers with.

Throw those burgers on the grill and cook to desired temperature.

In a medium sauce pan on low-medium heat, add the blue cheese crumbles, butter, and garlic. Season the mixture with salt and black pepper to taste. When ingredients are fully combined, turn heat to low and let simmer until you are ready to serve.

In a separate pan, heat olive oil on medium-high heat and sauté the sliced peppers and onions.

Break the rolls open, place a patty down, slather it with sauce and veggies, and enjoy!

Taste Test

These little burgers were fantastic. The blue cheese and garlic sauce complimented the peppers and onions very nicely. The veggies added great texture while the Hawaiian sweet rolls were a perfect treat for the palate.

Leftover Quality

Oops! There weren’t any leftovers. This should be the case at your Memorial Day party, too.
