Remembering Ravensbrück Showing Saturday

The showing will be held at the KSU Holocaust Center on Busbee Drive.

Congregation Ner Tamid's Adult Education Committee is hosting a Special Saturday Showing of Remembering Ravensbrück: Women and the Holocaust, presented by the KSU Holocaust Center tomorrow.

Created by the Public History and German Studies Programs and the Ravensbrück Memorial Site, Remembering Ravensbrück tells the story of the Nazi concentration camp where more than 150,000 women were interred. The exhibition focuses on the history of the camp, from its beginning in 1939 to its liberation in 1945, and highlights the stories of individual women - women who suffered in and survived the camp but also of female guards who willingly implemented the Nazi Final Solution.

The showing will be held at the KSU Center on Busbee Drive from 6:30-8:30 p.m. with refreshments following. It is free and recommended for adults and teens. To RSVP or for more information, email events@mynertamid.org or call 678-264-8575.
