KBA Presents $2K Gift to Student

It will cover expenses associated with the 49th Annual SkillsUSA National Leadership and Skills Conference in Kansas City, Mo.

A local student won't have to worry about he'll get to a national competition next month.

That's because California Dreaming's Greg Carter and former Kennesaw Business Association president Debbie Underkofler recently presented North Cobb High School student Daniel Kinslow with a check for $2,000 to cover his expenses for the trip.

The KBA reached out to the culinary arts instructor at North Cobb, and offered to help support Kinslow, who will represent Cobb at the 49th Annual SkillsUSA National Leadership and Skills Conference in Kansas City, Mo.
